Senior Officials of the Social Democratic Front have presented their proposals for the up-comimg national dialogue to the Prime Minister, Head of Government. This was on the second day of the broad based consultations.
A delegation led by the first national vice Chairman of the party, Honorable Joshua Osih Nambangi concerted with Prime Minister Dion Ngute at the Star Building on Thursday September 12, 2019.
One of Cameroon's frontline Parties, the Social Democratic Front welcomed the Head of State's announcement for national dialogue at the end of the month.
They came in an eighteen man strong delegation to the Starbuilding. At the head of the group was the first National vice Chairman, Hon. Joshua Osih Nambangi.
Also included were members of the National Executive Council (NEC), as well as selected Members of Parliament and Senators.
Although the meeting took place behind closed doors, at the end the head of the delegation told the press that SDF officials had expressed their concerns about issues that they hope will feature in the debate.
During the encounter that lasted close to thirty minutes, they also desired to know what format the discussions will take so as to enable them better prepare for the consultations proper.
Once more, like he did during the Peace Mission to the South and North West Region earlier in the year, The Head of Governmen has given pride of place to the SDF and the in turn have shown their committment to see peace and harmony return to the two anglophone regions.
