Missions : 
 

The Political Affairs Unit is responsible for:

• analysis and monitoring of national and international political life;
• monitoring relations with the political world. In this capacity, it monitors the activities of political parties, both of the majority and of the opposition, in Parliament and outside Parliament; it facilitates relations between the Cabinet and the CPDM Party as well as with the other parties of the Presidential Majority;
• monitoring the activity of trade unions and associations;
• conducting the search for political intelligence in liaison, if necessary, with the security service;
• ensuring the processing of political petitions.
