Members of the delegations from the South west and North West Regions have expressed their support for President Paul Biya’s call for a national dialogue.
The strong delegations which was made up of persons from all shades and strata of life from the two regions came to present their proposals to the Prime Minister, Head of Government.

Severely hit by the crisis, the South West delegation led by the Governor, Bernard Okalia Bilaii showed a pure demonstration of force by their numbers as if to signal their indignation over the violence and destruction that has devastated the region.
A group representing the different components of the area in terms of gender, physically challenged, youths as well as person from different strata of society spoke with one voice; for a one and indivisible decentralized Cameroon with ten autonomous regions where they can steer their affairs and bring back the glories of the past through the judicious management of the region’s assets. The earnest expectation of the people of the South West is to see an end of the killings and destruction that has brought untold hardship to the region with the attendant economic distress.
The North West delegation led by Governor Adolphe Lele L’Afrique also came in their numbers to hand in their proposals amongst which is reinforced governance through a speedy implementation of the decentralization process.
The proposals which are to be placed on the negotiating table have been assembled after meeting with grass root populations at the regional divisional and sub divisional levels.
