Consultations intensify at the Star Building

Consultations ahead of the forthcoming national dialogue continued at the Star Building as the Head of Government received the Executive Bureau of the Council of Traditional Rulers of Cameroon led by Lamido Alim Hayatou, trade unions as well as the leader of the Movement for the Defense of the Republic (MDR).

The views of the wise men from the Lamidats, Fondoms and Chieftancies across the nation were sampled as the Prime Minister received the executive bureau of the national council of traditional rulers led by the Lamido of Garoua, Alim Hayatou.

As a component of this important and historic national dialogue, the vice president of the group Nfor Tabe Tando explained to the press that his wish was that their input would be rather parental.

A delegation of the Cameroon Transport Union, General confederation comprising urban and inter urban transporters were equally consulted. Led by Nyemeck Ntamack, they called for a respect of collective conventions freedom of syndicates and the building of modern road infrastructure to enable the smooth functioning of their sector while requesting that a forum for pardon be considered.

One of the sectors that sparked the conflict in the troubled zones is education. The concerns of the Educational milieu mainly touching the educational system were reiterated by the trade union of basic secondary and higher education officials.

The leader of the Movement for the Defense of the Republic, (MDR), Dakole Daissala decried the sufferings and killings of Cameroonians and was hopeful that the dialogue will put a stop to the massacre.
